Purpose: to filter water for human consumption. Flow rate: Initial, gravity-fed rate of about one gallon per five hours, slows over time between cleanings. Shipping: Shipping at actual cost. No handling charge. Dimensions: 12 x 12 x 30 inches, or 30 x 30 x 90 cm. Materials: Two US five-gallon, food-safe, high-impact, pre-drilled, plastic pails with lids and metal handles. And one or two ceramic dome filters, one lever-activated spigot, plastic washers and fasteners. Assembly: Takes about ten minutes. No tools required.
