01 3a: Receive new believers with loving acceptance

Spend ample time with converts and assure them of your love.

New believers can hardly recognize that God has accepted them until we--His people--have done so.

*Find in Matthew 20:1-16 how we should look upon believers newer than ourselves. What attitude should we have towards those who receive God's grace in a much easier way than we have?

Listen to new believers:

To discover their concerns, worries, hopes, needs.
What specific problems do they face?
Assure them that God knows it all and show that Jesus suffered the same things.
What older believer has conquered the same kind of problem, and could come along side with timely help?
What patterns are emerging from several such interviews?
