Train your people to give joyfully by faith (2 Cor. 9:7), trusting in God's provision in this life and in His reward in the next.

• God does not promise riches to corrupt us; remember, it's harder for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter God's Kingdom (Mark 10:25).
• Throughout church history and around the world today, we see a consistent, recurring miracle: the poorest people often are the first to come to Christ when the gospel begins to penetrate a society. They learn to give in obedience to Jesus' command, out of love; then God raises them from their poverty. Their children become the economic middle class of the next generation.

Find in Matthew 6:33 what God promises to those who put Him first.

Find in 1 Corinthians 3:10-15 what happens to our achievements and material goods that are not used for God, in the resurrection, as well as what kind of 'goods' we do take with us.
