Deal with social, moral and economic issues in a Christian manner.

• Even if you choose not to get involved in politics as such, the man of God will not hesitate to speak out for fairness and morality, especially on the part of those who represent his community and claim to be speaking for him in legislature or other branches of government.
• Emphasize positive alternatives. Do not simply find fault.

Find in 1 Timothy 2:1-4 an important duty we have toward those who govern us.

Query the followers of Christ occasionally about what they consider the social, economic or political issues to be about which they feel strongly.

• What issues are some followers of Christ already involved in?
• Who are these persons?
• Discover their motivations and guiding principles.
• If you have biblical insights, offer to discuss the issues with them. They will usually accept to be taught what God has to say in the Bible about what they consider urgent.
