When your shepherding ministries and home groups are developed and reproducing, offer your experience to help other churches in the area.

• Do not push your external structure and methods on other groups.
• Discern the underlying principles and help them adapt and develop their own outward forms.
• Coaching church leaders is like counseling alcoholics - it does little good unless they want it.

Find in 2 Corinthians 2 7:5-7 examples of people of one church being refreshed by those of another.

Find in Titus 1:5 a responsibility of experienced pastors with churches in the area that lack experienced leaders.

Hold some focus group meetings with pastors to find out their desire to grow their congregations through small groups.

• After listening to them, you can offer to share your experience with them, making it clear that you are not asking to become their teacher or spiritual overseer.
• With those who want some guidance, arrange to coach their small group pastor or coordinator, not their small group leaders.
