10 3c: Discern when troubled people need professional help

Refer seriously disturbed persons to professional help. Such persons do one or more of the following:

continues to insist on fantastic notions,
hear voices,
talk about suicide,
exhibit physical symptoms of pathology,
has recurring bouts of severe depression with no apparent cause,
show bizarre behavior,
attack with physical violence.

WARNING! If you declare that you have the ability to deal with these abnormalities in a professional way when you do not (other than by praying and giving normal pastoral advice) you can be liable to a lawsuit.

Find in Proverbs 15:22-23 and 24:6 justification for seeking outside help.
