TEACHING AND DOING THE WORD, Pastoral Level 2e12 2e: Help the people to apply truths of history to today's world and the church
Teach your people the basic truths of church history, especially how the church has grown and extended itself to the nations, through the different eras of history. Help them to see that they are part of an ongoing movement, part of God's plan of the ages.
Find in 1 Corinthians 10:1-22 a good reason we are to know and deal with events of history.
