Provide for victims of faulty teaching who are open to hearing the truth the common evidences for the authenticity of the Christian Faith:

• Prophecies that have been fulfilled,
• Change for the good in people's lives who embrace Christ,
• Social benefits of Christian influence (societies that have been influenced strongly by Christians are all better places to live in than those which have not, especially for the common people who live with extreme poverty, superstition, disease, political oppression and despair),
• Answered prayer,
• The inner witness to our spirit of the presence of the Holy Spirit,
• Countless proofs from the physical sciences of a purposeful, powerful and intelligent Creator-Designer.

For those who find certain things in the Bible hard to believe, even though they hunger for knowledge of the truth, explain:

• There is very much in God's Word that is obviously good and true for us to feast on.
• We need not starve to death while we wait until we are able to understand the few really difficult passages of Scripture.

Find in Isaiah 52:13 through 53:12 prophesies of the redemptive work of Jesus.

Find in Romans 8:16 how the Holy Spirit bears witness to our spirit.

Find in Romans 1:18-32 why men who deny God are without excuse.

Find in 1 Timothy 4:1-2 the root of all anti-God teaching.

Find in 1 Peter 3:13-16 why we learn to articulate the evidences of our faith.

Find out the challenges to the authority of the Bible that the people with whom you work currently face among their neighbors, in the popular press, in the schools, and from the local religions.

• Do not try to guess or rely on your own limited exposure. Ask your people in focus groups or use short surveys with them.
• Systematically find accurate, satisfying answers. The best answers do not always come from Western theology books.
• Let the local believers discuss how they answer. In many cultures, spiritual experiences prove more convincing than the rational defenses of Western philosophers.
