Provide for ongoing learning.
- Don't let your trainees ever fully graduate! Wise Christian workers never stop learning.
- This menu will keep them busy indefinitely. Even if they ever do check off every item--which is not our purpose--there will be enough new people and situations in their churches to start all over again, with new leaders.

Verify the best training approach for the people among whom you work.
- Missionary Patrick O'Connor in Honduras, who works with rural pastors who multiply believer groups, has devised a project to track their ministry competence and research outcomes. Taking personal and ministerial histories of pastors, including any formal, non-formal and informal training they have had, he is able to show what influences make better pastors in his part of the world.
