This Section deals more with basic spiritual character development and treating problems after they have developed.

10 1a: Core Unit — Develop Christian virtues

Help your people to appreciate God's very contagious attributes of love, justice, faithfulness, mercy, goodness, patience, etc., to imitate them with His help.

Find in Galatians 5:22-23 the fruit (virtues) born of the Holy Spirit.

Find in Philippians the kind of joy that we should have and where it comes from.

*Find in Genesis chapters 20 - 36 examples of good and bad attitudes toward God.

*Find in Genesis 24 how a bride-to-be demonstrated her faith in God. How does she illustrate how believers come to Jesus?

*Find in Genesis chapters 25 - 33 examples of the importance of being an heir in ancient Hebrew culture.

*Find in Genesis 25:27-34, how Jacob tricked Esau into giving him his rights as first-born (for a special inheritance).

*Find in Genesis 27:1-40 how Jacob tricked his dying father into giving him his brother's blessing.

*Find in Genesis 32:22-32 how Jacob and his descendents received the name "Israel".

*Find in Genesis 33:1-20 what Jacob did so that his brother Esau would forgive him.

Find in Psalms 90-106 expressions of healthy attitudes toward God and His works.
